Create a Publisher Promotion

Publisher Promotion campaigns are created under Advertiser accounts for the primary purpose of making the campaigns available to publishers to promote. See Introduction to Campaigns for a complete list of campaign types available on the platform.

Publisher Promotions can be created with the Quick Campaign feature, from an Advertiser Account or from the Advertiser Manage Campaigns page.

To create a Quick Publisher Promotion,

Click the plus icon on the Navigation Bar.

Make sure to check the top "promotion" option under "How will you promote this campaign?"

To create a Publisher Promotion,

From the Advertiser Navigation Bar, hover on Campaigns and select "Add New Campaign".

Campaign Name must be unique.

Select top "promotion" Campaign Type.

Define the hours of operation. To enforce these hours, apply them as conditions in the Call Treatment or IVR using "Check a Condition".

Use Bundled Campaigns when you want to intelligently route to the Publisher Promotion campaign based on its hours or operation.

Target Regions

To add a custom target region, see Set Up Custom Target Regions.

Setting target regions on a Publisher Promotion campaign is for information only, unless it is enforced in the Call Treatment or IVR using the "Check a condition" step.

Use Bundled Campaigns when you want to intelligently route to the Publisher Promotion campaign based on its target regions.


This step is only required for platforms with the Payout feature enabled.

Enter the base and bonus payout to publishers. 
If there is a base payout condition, a call must meet it first before being eligible for a bonus.

If you are creating a Publisher Promotion for a Network Managed Advertiser, enter the advertiser's base and bonus Payout amounts. 
The amount entered is the amount the network charges the advertiser for each qualified call. 

Example payout condition:

In the example above the call needs to be from a caller in the Target Region, received during the designated Hours of operation and have a connect duration greater than 90 seconds.

To set campaign budget or call cap notifications, click "Budget and Call Cap Alerts". Remember that selecting budget and call caps trigger notifications only and have no effect on calls or payouts. Test calls are not included in call caps. Use Bundled Campaigns when you want to intelligently route to the Publisher Promotion campaign based on budget availability.

Select "Use Conversion Reporting" to report and compensate publishers for conversions, such as a sale or qualified lead.

Target Profile

Target Profiles are meant to communicate target demographics for the campaign and are informational only.


If campaign has a landing page enter the URL. This URL is used to derive the correct links for creatives, static promo numbers or RingPools that you or your publishers may use when promoting the campaign. 

To verify Advertiser Web Integration Code has been installed properly on the landing page, click test.
